It is September again, and Istanbul European Choir is starting to have rehearsals like every other fall; with one difference this year: Our rehearsal venue is no longer German Highschool but Teutonia instead. This new situation is expected to last for two years, due to the physical renovations of the German Highschool building. We believe that this change will bring fresh breath to our choir. In this season, we will be rehearsing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana with our choirmaster Gökçen Koray. It is planned to perform this work with IDSO under the direction of Alexander Rahbari in January 2008.
Rehearsal place: Teutonia, Galip Dede Cad. No. 65, Tünel Time: Tuesday 11th, September 2007 |
